We all know that behind every great woman is an average guy. Larissa is the wife of the Editor and as such is subject to constant conversation about fly fishing, sudden last minute fishing trips, vacations in small skiffs surrounded by sharks, as well as keeping the fishing gear line item on the household budget in balance. She caught her first fish on the fly this year, but thus far has not really got hooked on the sport. She’s a smart lady (she married me) so she picked books related to fly fishing for her list.

Since my mid life crisis came early and is now well over, she said that she intended this one for our pal Zugbug. This book is a good choice for any angler looking to avoid spending all your money on convertibles and gold chains.

 

Fly Fishing For Dummies by Peter Kaminsky

I suppose she picked this book for me. I have most of the series already though.
