We came to know John “Zugbug” Davis when the witness protection program relocated him to the Carolinas.  He got the moniker “Zugbug” because when we first took him fly fishing he only brought one fly, and you guessed it, that fly was a size 14 zugbug. Zugbug recently tried his hand night fishing for big brown trout on Arkansas’ fabled White River.  He later told us that navigating the slippery creek bank in the pitch black darkness was one of the less fun adventures he had been involved with lately.
